{"id":543,"date":"2026-01-25T08:52:04","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T07:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mjm-automation.sk\/?p=543"},"modified":"2026-02-21T19:46:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T18:46:46","slug":"opticke-senzory-farma-priemysel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mjm-automation.sk\/en\/clanky-blog\/opticke-senzory-farma-priemysel\/","title":{"rendered":"Optical sensors \u2013 pharmaceutical industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Optical sensors \u2013 pharmaceutical industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Precision as the foundation of production<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you enter the world <strong>of pharmaceutical manufacturing<\/strong> as an electrician or automation technician, you quickly realize that <strong>precision is not just a requirement \u2013 it is an absolute foundation<\/strong>.<br>Every capsule, every bottle, every millimeter on the production line must be under control.<br>And this is exactly where they come into play <strong>optical sensors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For an electrician, it\u2019s not just about \u201cplug it in and it works\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Optical sensors are <strong>the nervous system of the production line<\/strong> \u2013 they monitor the presence of packaging, check positioning, and send signals to the PLC so that everything runs without errors.<br>In an industry where strict standards apply <strong>GMP<\/strong> and <strong>FDA<\/strong>, is <strong>the reliability of sensors is just as important as the correct wiring of the switchgear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Types of optical sensors used in the pharmaceutical industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">1<\/mark> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f90707\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Luminescent sensors (e.g. UVX):<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>They emit ultraviolet light to detect luminescent tracers in materials. They have a fast response time and a longer range (3\u20136\u00d7 greater than the competition).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">2<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Contrast sensors (e.g. CNTX)<\/strong>:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They detect differences in surface finish, markings, or texture with high precision (switching speed of 40 kHz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">3<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Color sensors (e.g. ColorMax or CMYX)<\/strong>:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They distinguish colors, including opaque or transparent marks, with detection of small marks (from 0.5 mm) at speeds of up to 2,000 ft\/min.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">4<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f90000\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Opacity sensors (e.g. OPAX-1000)<\/strong>:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They measure light transmission through materials (99 levels of relative opacity) and support materials such as HDPE, LDPE, or paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On pharmaceutical production lines (e.g. filling, packaging, or ampoule inspection), various types of optical sensors are used. absorbuj\u00fa UV energiu a okam\u017eite ju <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">reemuj\u00fa vo vidite\u013enom spektre<\/mark>
